I have nearly a decade of freelance nonfiction writing experience, including contributing to Gothic Beauty Magazine for over five years. I also hold an MFA in Creative Writing: Fiction from Goddard College and a BA in English: Creative Writing from the University of Kansas.

Teacher

I have designed and implemented writing courses for a variety of settings, including graduate and undergraduate university courses for Minot State University, free public workshops in bookstores, and accelerated high school classes in private, public, and rural districts.

Editor

I have experience with proofreading, line editing, and editing towards an internal style guide for companies such as Boston Reed College and Newletters Magazine / BkMk Press (not to mention the hundreds of student essays I graded as an English teacher).

I handle all of the design for my own novels, including cover art and composition, page setting, and marketing materials. I've also worked as a freelance graphic designer for nearly a decade, taking on everything from traditional ads and flyers to personal tattoos.
